What are SteamVR Dongles?

Summary: SteamVR dongles are usb receivers that each can talk to one SteamVR positionally tracked device over 2.4 GHz wireless (with the exception of the tundra super dongles, which can track multiple and work by packaging multiple receivers into a single package connected via an internal USB hub).
